About Raising Hope Center Inc.
Raising Hope Centre was founded in 2017 by friends from different nationalities including Refugee and host community and gets registered officially in 2022, seeking inclusive and sustainable economic development through economic inclusion and self-reliance.
The Canadian branch of Raising Hope Centre focuses on fundraising, advocacy, and building partnerships across Canada. By mobilizing resources and awareness here, we strengthen and sustain the programs led by our team in Kenya. While Canada drives support and connections, the Kenyan branch implements the programs on the ground, ensuring that every contribution directly impacts the lives of refugees, women, youth, and vulnerable families in Kitengela and beyond.

Our Kenyan Team Now Certified BDS Providers
Our Team: Now Certified BDS Providers
On August 4th, 2025, several staff members of Raising Hope Centre successfully completed specialized training by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and are now certified Business Development Services (BDS) providers.
This certification strengthens our team’s ability to deliver high-quality support in:
Entrepreneurship and business skills development
Financial literacy and savings group facilitation
Mentorship and coaching for small businesses
Market linkages and access to financial opportunities
By equipping our team with these advanced skills, we are better prepared to empower refugees, women, and youth to achieve financial independence and long-term resilience.
